Expected Learning Outcomes

Attaining and acquiring optimal skills in the dental, medical, and surgical management of patients with systemic diseases. Achieving and acquiring optimal skills in the diagnosis, prevention, and medical and surgical treatment of mucosal and osseous pathologies in the oro-maxillofacial region.

The curriculum is designed to guide and enhance the student's approach to patients with various issues, ranging from managing patients with organ diseases to those presenting with nonspecific oral or craniofacial pathologies requiring symptom-directed therapy, as well as diagnosis and treatment tailored to the underlying condition. Specifically, the student should be able to: identify patients requiring emergency treatment; recognize patients with systemic diseases at risk of emergencies; understand the basics of cross-infection control in dentistry.

The course is supplemented by students' free participation in local, national, and international scientific events organized in the fields of clinical dentistry, oncology, pathology, and oral and maxillofacial surgery, as well as new technologies in dentistry.
