The course aims to provide a general overview of the fundamental concepts of psychology in order to promote a reading from a psychological perspective of the health care pathway and the difficult and complex relationship that professionals must activate with the patient and other professionals with whom they collaborate. The basics of psychology (processes related to memory and learning, perceptual and attentional processes, emotions and empathy), communication and the operator-patient relationship, and the dynamics operating at the institutional level in the healthcare world (teamwork, mobbing and burnout of the healthcare worker) will be explored.
