New ADE - iWIN MEETING 2025

Students are informed that on June 20th and 21st 2025, in the Palazzo della Cultura ( Via Vittorio Emanuele II, 121) the elective teaching activity entitled iWIN MEETING 2025 (International Women in Intensive and Critical care Network) will take place.

This activity is offered as an elective course for students of the Medicine and Surgery program by Prof.ssa F. Rubulotta.

The meeting focuses on several critical issues at the intersection of healthcare equity, gender, and race by addressing:

• The importance of diversity, inclusion, and equity in clinical trials and the need for representative research to ensure effective healthcare interventions.
• The management of diverse patient populations, emphasizing the specific needs of various groups, including peri-operative, septic shock, cardiovascular, and pregnant patients.
