Expected Learning Outcomes

Achieve practical knowledge and skills that allow you to manage simple surgical periodontal cases, report complex ones with appropriate indication, have information and the basic concepts of implantology, carry out implant-periodontal treatment plans. At the end of the course, the student will have to: - know periodontal surgery - be able to perform basic periodontal surgery - interpretation and reading of CBCT instrumental examinations and use of the software in the periodontal field

Course Structure

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of the odontostomatological field. Knowledge of the pathogenesis and clinical aspects of mucous and bone pathologies of the oro-maxillofacial area. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology in the periodontal field.

Surgical management with knowledge of guidelines, operating protocols related to periodontal disease.
