For Teachers Who Are Willing to Establish Inter-institutional Agreements

The following communication pertains to the establishment of new inter-institutional agreements within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. These agreements adhere to specific guidelines, which include procedural instructions and accompanying documents (see below in the "Useful Documents" section).

The signing of these agreements takes place through the international platform known as EWP (Erasmus Without Paper). Dr. Giovanna Schillaci will be responsible for entering the data related to Erasmus mobilities into the portal and overseeing the process until the completion of each individual agreement.

Furthermore, it is emphasized that the Excel form for requesting an agreement is a document that each faculty member should send to their foreign counterpart to define the agreement's details and acquire the necessary information for input into the portal. The faculty member must provide the name and email address of Dr. Giovanna Schillaci (giovanna.schillaci@unict.it) for the submission of completed forms, both from the UNICT faculty member responsible for the agreement and the foreign partner.

It is essential to clarify, in advance, the compatibility of the study programs of each specific degree with the partner, as the primary goal of inter-institutional agreements is to enable student mobility for academic purposes. This becomes unattainable if suitable courses cannot be found within the foreign institution's curriculum for students to attend and subsequently validate upon the completion of their mobility.

Additionally, it is noted that newly finalized agreements by December 10, 2023, will be included in the options for the Erasmus+ Mobility for Studies for the academic year 2024/2025. The process of entering these new agreements must conclude by November 12, 2023, and no later.
