Closure of University Facilities — 2024 Planning

The General Directorate of the University of Catania has announced that all university facilities will remain closed on the following days in 2024:
- Tuesday, January 2nd
- Friday, April 26th
- From Monday, August 12th, to Friday, August 23rd
- Monday, December 23rd
- Tuesday, December 24th
- Friday, December 27th
Preparing for Academic Year 2024/2025
As the current academic year 2023/2024 progresses, preparations are underway for the upcoming academic year.
By March 22, 2024, the coordination of the Degree Course and the Educational Services of the Department will define the Scheduled Educational Offering.
The actual curriculum will be determined by April 30, 2024.

Initiation of Academic Sessions
The Medicine and Surgery program at University of Catania has commenced its academic sessions as of November 27, 2023. Prospective students awaiting list adjustments are strongly encouraged to expedite their enrollment process.
Mandatory attendance is in effect, and students are advised to promptly register, as absences can be recuperated within defined limits. For further details, students are directed to consult the regulations outlined in the attendance recovery policy.
