Academic Activities Suspended for University Palio 2024
Due to the XXI edition of the University Palio 2024, all academic activities are suspended for Wednesday, May 8th starting from 14:00, and for the entire days of Thursday, May 9th, and Friday, May 10th, 2024. Further information regarding the rescheduling of cancelled classes can be found in the updated calendar. Specifically, the class on "Applied Biology II" has been rescheduled for May 7. The classes on "Additional Language Knowledge" have been rescheduled for May 16 and 17.

Transfer Guidelines Released
A guide has been released to aid transfers into the Medicine and Surgery Master's Program. Eligible applicants from Italian or foreign universities teaching in English can find essential criteria and procedures outlined. Detailed regulations for transfers are available here.

Update on Second Semester Academic Activities
The calendar for second-semester academic activities has been updated to include the scheduled dates for professional internships in Health Informatics (venue to be announced soon). Students are also kindly requested to review minor modifications affecting the dates of the courses “Additional Language Knowledge”, by Prof. Giuseppe Palazzolo, and “Health and the Climate Change”, by Prof. Margherita Ferrante.

ANVUR Earns WFME Accreditation
The Italian National Agency for University and Research Evaluation (ANVUR) has received accreditation from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME). This recognition, valid until March 31, 2034, highlights ANVUR's commitment to maintaining high standards in medical education. The accreditation opens doors for Italian medical graduates to pursue specialization opportunities in the United States.

2024/2025 Enrollment Capacity Defined

In the context of the upcoming academic year 2024/2025, the assessment of the educational potential for the restricted enrollment course in Medicine and Surgery has been finalized. This procedural step is a prerequisite for the issuance of decrees concerning the determination of the available seats for admission to the course.

Approval of Academic Regulations and Programmed Teaching for Academic Year 2024
In today's session of the CHIRMED departmental council, the academic regulations for the academic year 2024 and the planned teaching for the same academic year were approved. These documents will soon be made available on the Degree Course's website.
